Widows Ministry

"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."  James 1:27

There are many widows among the Maasai Churches and for them, each day is struggle just to provide food, clothing and shelter for their children.  Without the help of a husband to farm their land and earn income, these women are left to carry the load of two people which leaves them even deeper in poverty.   Hope For The Maasai is helping meet their needs and provide a better future for these women and their children.  We're helping to lift their burdens by building them homes and providing them with resources such as milk goats which they can use for food as well as for generating income.   We also give financial assistance for their children's education.
